Sarah Stewart-Spencer 2025
Deepening Presence and Meaning in Trauma Treatment: how an existential approach can enrich trauma care and supervision
Trauma often disrupts an individual’s sense of meaning, identity, and connection. Dr Sarah Stewart-Spencer returns to CEP in 2025 to facilitate a workshop that explores how specific concepts of existentialism—such as authenticity, freedom, and the search for meaning—can enrich trauma care and supervision. Over the 4 half-days, you will explore with her core competencies in trauma treatment, some key existential principles within in the context of trauma and the iteration of meaning-making and authenticity into trauma-informed care.
