A four-part workshop offering an existential and phenomenological exploration of invisible loss and living after rupture. Using the Four Worlds as a living framework, you will explore with Chloe the many types of invisible loss that are under-recognised and yet profoundly impactful. You will also explore ways that practitioners can both recognise and hold these experiences in the therapeutic space.

Dreams as Guides, Nightmares as Gateways
In this immersive 2 half-days, Leslie will introduce you (or re-introduce you) to Embodied Experiential (EE) Dreamwork, an approach that integrates focusing, somatic awareness, and contemporary dream science – an embodied practice that continues to unfold with repetition. This workshop has an increased focus on disturbed dreaming states, including nightmares and you’ll examine with Leslie the clinical implications of new research into their clinical implications.

Existential Courage: a lived and relational process that we can develop and support
A 3-hour workshop in which you will explore with Emmy the nature of courage and its role in therapeutic work. Emmy will trace how courage has been understood across existential literature and how it can be mobilised in response to existential anxiety, crisis and the fundamental challenges of being human. You will consider how existential courage emerges as a lived and relational process that can be supported and developed over time.

Supervision as a Space for Shared Enquiry: an existential-phenomenological approach
In this 2 half-day highly experiential workshop, Yaqui will explore with you the many dimensions of an existential-phenomenological approach to supervision and what can happen when an authentic, open stance is taken. The supervisory focus will be on developing sensibility of the therapist’s way of being with the client, all aspects explored through a lens of genuine ‘unknowing’ humility and openness. You will be invited to bring your own case examples to use in these sessions which will include live supervision, group reflection and opportunities to practice with your peers.
