Take this short course to explore the fundamental concepts of existential practice and how they can be applied to any modality. The course will introduce you to the fundamental ideas encompassed in existential counselling and psychotherapy and how they are located in practice.
If you are a practising psychotherapist, counsellor, psychologist, coach or social worker who would like to incorporate existential themes and concepts into your practice, this short course is for you. It provides an intensive introduction to the fundamental philosophical concepts that inform the practice of existential counselling and psychotherapy. The course includes an overview of the major philosophers and a critique of their similarities and differences.

- Philosophical foundations
- Introduction to the Wheel of Existence
- Time and Beginnings
- Exploration of the Existential Givens
- Worldview and Sedimented Beliefs
- Integrating a phenomenological understanding of relationship
